I think I would love to teach the younger kids. I am sure it is so tough but boy are they cute. I am amazed with how children as young as 2 or 3 are familiar with technology in everyday life. It seems so natural to them. I guess it really is because it is available, They can program remotes, play DSi, search google for information (especially pop tropica), ipads, iphones and download itunes and of course digital photos to name a few! It certainly makes me feel like a dunce.
I think you said you work at St. Cecilia's? I am so sorry to hear they are closing down the school. It is so unbelievable to me. I am a product of Catholic education my entire school career. It makes me so sad. All three of my children were baptized at St. Cecelia's.
Have you ever worked in the public school system? Can you speak at all about the pro and cons? Would you like to continue at a Catholic school?
